چکیده

Mycoplasma haemofelis which is also called Haemobartonella felis is an infectious anemia factor (F.I.A) in cats. The clinical signs of the disease are different and it can be seen as acute, over acute and chronic. In some situations, the Mycoplasma haemofelis isn’t treated completely by tetracycline and the similar medications and the cat remains the bearer. Due to the fact that Mycoplasma haemofelis creates symptoms, the Homeopathic medication (China) will be selected according to the symptoms. The only difference was that the China not only cleaned the clinical symptoms, but also cleared the blood contamination and left no symptoms from neither contamination nor from the disease.

Molecular characterization and phylogenetic analysis of feline hemoplasmas in domestic cats in Iran

Three known feline hemoplasmas are Mycoplsama haemofelis, ‘Candidatus Mycoplasma haemominutum’ and ‘Candidatus Mycoplasma turicensis’. They are described as cause of feline infectious anemia in domestic and wild felids. Other blood parasites or blood-related pathogens like concurrent retroviral infections may deteriorate the clinical condition and se...

Detection of humoral response using a recombinant heat shock protein 70, DnaK, of Mycoplasma haemofelis in experimentally and naturally hemoplasma-infected cats.

Hemoplasmas is the trivial name given to a group of erythrocyte-parasitizing bacteria of the genus Mycoplasma. Of the feline hemoplasmas, Mycoplasma haemofelis is the most pathogenic, while "Candidatus Mycoplasma haemominutum" and "Candidatus Mycoplasma turicensis" are less pathogenic. Shotgun libraries of fragmented M. haemofelis genomic DNA were constructed, and random colonies were selected ...

Molecular survey of Mycoplasma haemofelis and 'Candidatus mycoplasma haemominutum' infection in cats in Yamaguchi and surrounding areas.

A molecular survey of hemoplasma (Mycoplasma haemofelis and 'Candidatus Mycoplasma haemominutum') in Yamaguchi Prefecture and surrounding areas was performed by using molecular methods. PCR-RFLP with HindIII revealed that 2 cats were infected with M. haemofelis, and 16 with 'C. Mycoplasma haemominutum' among 102 randomly selected cats. Partial 16S rRNA gene sequences of M. haemofelis and 'C. My...

Mycoplasma haemofelis and Mycoplasma haemominutum detection by polymerase chain reaction in cats from Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Hemobartonellosis is caused by Mycoplasma haemofelis, previously known as Haemobartonella felis. Cats infected with this organism typically develop regenerative anemia. The related species Mycoplasma haemominutum may also cause anemia. The purposes of this study were to use polymerase chain reaction technology to determine if both organisms exist in naturally infected cats from Saskatchewan and...
